The COBB Tuning Subaru EJ Turbo Blanket reduces heat transfer from the turbine housing into the engine bay while helping keep exhaust gases hotter and denser for faster turbo response. Its fire-retardant volcanic-rock outer layer is rated to 1500F direct heat and 1800F radiant heat, while calcium-magnesium-silicate wool insulation is rated to 1800F direct heat and 2300F peak heat. The blanket is a direct-fit solution for turbocharged Subaru EJ applications.
